This proposal, designed by Scott Tallon Walker Architects, is the design of a renovated Cable Car station as well as a tourism center for visitors. The scheme is located off the edge of the Beara Peninsula looking out onto the farming island of Dursey. With the intention of reviving the sole remaining cable car in Ireland, the project means to bring attention to the area and accommodate for further footfall. Along with offices, a tourism center and a car park, the proposal offers visitors a moment to appreciate the views with the a small café/restaurant.
